Are you new to Human Resources? Or are you a seasoned pro who wants a refresher on essentials? Either way, the Human Resources Professional Series (HRPS) Certificate has you covered. With a focus on getting back to basics and building a solid foundation in the critical areas of HR, this program prepares you to efficiently handle the issues facing your department on a regular basis. In particular, the program drills down on compliance with both federal and California specific laws, starting and severing employment relationships, structuring innovative compensation & benefits packages as well as establishing effective lines of dialogue with your supervisory team. This 8 module program is structured in 4-hour interactive courses and is typically scheduled every other week for a total of 32 hours.
