This exhibit explores the art of social commentary as pictorial image. It traces the evolution of the satirical cartoon across three centuries. From William Hogarth's social commentary on the English upper and lower classes to Pat Oliphant's caricatures of American politicians, these artists captured the human experience in images that are comic and cautionary, perceptive and poignant.
