Hrvatski (only Boston-area appearance this year), dev/null July 19, 2005

Tonight is the clash of the superheroes show at bill's bar on lansdowne street in boston (see below for the lineup.) this is a special concert as i've not only never played on lansdowne street, i don't think i've seen a concert down there since the lansdowne playhouse closed in the mid 90s (last concert i saw there: masonna & merzbow.) the lyons group clubs (avalon, axis, bill's, etc...) have always completely off-limits to any non-commercial and booking-agent free artist, so again, it's a special show. plus it's 18+, which is always nice and is getting harder and harder to do these days...

please come out if you want to hear me run through the hrvatski oeuvre one more time. i've prepared a special, video-game heavy set with tons of lo-bit bleeping and at least one jam composed entirely on a gameboy (possibly more, time permitting.) pete dev/null is my favorite boston area breakcore / grindcore producer (he has a few records on tigerbeat6), and is always a riot. what little i've heard of the other acts on the bill was very promising, and maxx (the promoter) has certainly been talking them up. it should be fun.
