"Easter Monday on the White House Lawn"

– A Mix of Early Spring Concert Band Music

The Highlands Ranch Concert Band presents “Easter Monday on the White House Lawn”, an exciting repertoire of musical selections with a bounce of the Spring season at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday March 10 at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 9203 S. University Blvd., Highlands Ranch, CO., 80126

The program includes “Easter Monday on the White House Lawn” by the famous John Phillip Sousa, a medley from Leonard Bernstein’s “West Side Story”, and a Henry Mancini selection from the movie “The Great Race”. Also featured is set of rousing selections by Dmitri Shostakovich guaranteed to lift you from your seat, and the haunting melodious notes of Percy Grainger that carry you into the hills of Scotland and Ireland.

Highlands Ranch Concert Band is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization of volunteer professional, amateur and high school musicians that provides free performances throughout the year, promoting an educational experience for musicians and the community through music, arts, entertainment, and cultural opportunities.
