HR Concert Band Veteran’s Day Concert November 10, 2012

Honoring Members of the United States Armed Forces, Past and Present.

Join the Highlands Ranch Concert Band for their annual tribute to the men and women of the armed forces on Saturday, November 10 at South Suburban Christian Church 7275 S. Broadway, Littleton, CO 80122 at 7:30pm.

This year we are excited to be joined by the Littleton Chorale conducted by Michael Todd Krueger and the Bear Canyon Elementary School Choir conducted by Julie Tobin.

This free performance will have a variety of music that honors veterans and our country. Selections will include the Star Spangled Banner, Armed Forces Salute, Battle Hymn of the Republic and other patriotic pieces.

This event is presented by the Highlands Ranch Concert Band, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization of volunteer professional, amateur and high school musicians that provides free performances throughout the year, promoting an educational experience for musicians and the community through music, arts, entertainment, and cultural opportunities.

In 1978, the Littleton Chorale began under founding director Bud Nicholson. Since the first downbeat, the Littleton Chorale has grown through the vision of six directors. The Chorale draws singers and supporters from South Metro Denver including Littleton, Douglas County, South Jefferson County, and neighboring regions with performances throughout the greater south metro Denver area. In addition, the Littleton Chorale frequently collaborates with outstanding choral and instrumental ensembles including the Colorado Chamber Orchestra, Littleton Symphony Orchestra, Colorado Wind Ensemble, Kutandara, Young Voices of Colorado, Boulder Chorale, and area elementary and high schools.
