The Hispanic Professionals Networking Group of NY invites you to our November networking event.

Techies, in many ways, are groupies. Like rock bands, techies have their favorite software and are always eager to meet those who make things happen at the mega star companies.

When the world's largest software maker gave HPNG an opportunity to talk to one of their Latino techie stars, we jumped at the chance.

MR. WALTER DOMINGUEZ
Principal Consultant and Security Architect, East Region
MICROSOFT CORPORATION

Walter has been with Microsoft for 10 years and is responsible for Microsoft's East Region Consulting Services efforts in the security and infrastructure area. He has previously worked with large system integrators and served as Lead Security Consultant for Mergent International.

After starting his career with the U.S. Army Intelligence, Walter spear headed the U.S. Intelligence efforts in Europe just prior to the Berlin Wall falling. He has Served in various world conflicts, Grenada, Panama, Desert Shield and Desert Storm, and finally Somalia. Afterwards, as a disabled veteran Walter joined Mergent International's International Consulting Services Group in 1993. He lead, developed, and implemented comprehensive solutions for securing business information for many large businesses, and reached out across many vertical segments.

Walter has worked with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and the task force for the U.S. Department of Justice Internet Crimes Against Children.
