The How Weird Street Faire features nine stages of music during the day (Live Electronica, Downtempo, House, Techno, Drum & Bass, World Beat and more), seven city blocks filled with art and celebration, food and vendors from around the world selling unique and creative wares, non-profit organizations to educate and inspire you, performance artists and thousands of people in colorful costumes dancing in the streets, and the opportunity to meet members of your extended family and forge lasting connections.

Open to all ages, with requested donation of $10 (or $5 in costume).
Location: Howard Street between New Montgomery and 1st Street - and 2nd Street from Mission to Howard.
Faire Entrances: are Howard Street & 1st Street; and Howard Street & New Montgomery (with bike parking, and only 2 blocks from the Montgomery BART and MUNI stop.)

This year, there will be a special Community Action Zone during the day inside Temple, located at 540 Howard Street (within the faire site). Technology that fosters peace and sustainability will be exhibited, and there will be talks and interactive workshops. So come inside from Noon to 4:30pm to be inspired.

This year will feature 9 stages of music by collaborations of collectives and artists; including CCC, Tantra, An-ten-nae.net, Muti Music, Raindance, Koinonea, Cyberset, Sunset, Om Records, Space Cowboys, Groove Garden, Mystic Beat Lounge, Earthdance, Surya Dub, Non Stop Bhangra, Electric Vardo, Yoga Tai Chi Collective, Symbiosis, Opel, Deep End, Opulent Temple, Lowpro Lounge, Supperclub, and more!
Cost: $5* ($5 in costume, $10 otherwise)
