How to Start a Magazine on a Shoestring is designed for aspiring small circulation (5,000 to 100,000 + copies) magazine publishers or anyone who desires to learn more about magazine publishing and the processes involved in launching a successful publication. With the considerable advances in technology, it is now possible to launch a national magazine with $1,000 dollars or less! Yes, you read correctly! The seminar is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of the creative processes involved in the conceptualization, formulation and subsequent distribution of a consumer magazine. Upon completion of the seminar participants will be competent in all the major steps required to effectively launch a consumer publication in the US market. Emphasis is invariably placed upon print magazines as opposed to internet magazines (e-zines) and those cost cutting strategies/techniques that will enable participants to substantially reduce the amount of initial investment capital needed to successfully launch and distribute a consumer magazine. Any and all questions will be answered at this hands-on, informative and fun event. The new year is almost upon us so now is the time to prepare to launch your magazine! Be sure to register in advance as space is limited to 25 participants per seminar! See you there!
