"Succulents are the conservationists of the plant world", says Robin Stockwell, owner, grower, and manager of Succulent Gardens in Castroville. Succulents, like other plants, will be healthiest when they get the proper mix of water and nutrients and the appropriate environment. It is important to realize that succulents are low maintenance - not no maintenance! Soil, water, fertilizer, exposure, and maintenance will all be covered as Robin shares the knowledge that comes from years of experience. There will be ample time for questions and answers. Succulents will also be for sale at the class.

Robin Stockwell is the owner, grower, and manager of Succulent Gardens in Castroville and Carmel, and has been working with plants since 1972. He is a well known participant and speaker at the San Francisco Flower and Garden Show, Sunset Magazine Celebration Weekend, and Filoli Gardens, and has appeared in numerous magazines, newspapers, and radio shows.
