Sharad Rastogi
VP of Marketing, Cisco

Sharad is currently VP of Marketing at Cisco where he is responsible for market strategy and customer intelligence. Before Cisco, Sharad was senior vice president of corporate development and marketing at JDSU where he defined corporate strategy, successfully acquired and integrated businesses, and substantially improved profitability through manufacturing outsourcing. He also launched high impact customer loyalty, public relations, rebranding and online initiatives. Prior to JDSU, he served as general manager of Pinnacle Systems, Avid's consumer business unit, and vice president of corporate development at Avid. Sharad turned around Pinnacle by achieving significant profitable growth and was instrumental in doubling Avid's revenue through acquisitions and alliances in the consumer, audio, video and broadcast markets. Before Avid, Sharad was a partner at management consulting firm Bain & Company, where he advised technology, telecom, media, venture capital, and private equity clients in strategy, operational improvement, mergers and acquisitions, and post-merger integration.
