House Proud: Nineteenth-Century Watercolor Interiors From the Thaw Collection September 25, 2008

This exhibition showcases numerous nineteenth-century watercolor drawings. The paintings meticulously detail the era's interior furnishings and thus document the development of European domestic life. Selected objects from the Museum's permanent collection will complement the drawings.
