House Beautiful magazine brings to life its third annual “Kitchen of the Year,” created with Jeff Lewis, star of Bravo’s hit series “Flipping Out,” from Monday, July 19 – Friday, July 23, 2010, at Rockefeller Plaza, New York City. Known best to his many fans as an extremely successful (and obsessive) real estate entrepreneur, Lewis brings his wide experience and innovative thinking to completely re-imagine this fully-functioning kitchen, housed in a custom-created glass conservatory: more than 1,000 square feet of state-of-the-art kitchen and living space surrounded by an additional 1,000 square feet of beautifully decorated and landscaped decks for outdoor entertaining.

Visitors will be able to experience this ultimate kitchen free of charge. Each day, tours and demonstrations on everything from kitchen design to recipe preparation to product sampling will be offered. Adding to this celebration of all things culinary, “Tastes of Summer,” a sampling of food and beverages from Rockefeller Center’s renowned restaurants, will take place from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, through Thursday, July 22.
