Hot Composting Workshop September 29, 2012

Come to Songaia's Garden & learn how to properly build your own hot compost pile! We will build one together during class. You will have everything you need at the end of our workshop. You will learn:

* To begin hot composting your kitchen scraps & yard waste, while turning them into a rich, healthy amendment for your garden, soil & potted plants
* To organically suppress disease & increase plant vitality
* To reduce water use while increasing garden yield

Featured Speaker: Douglas Larson has been an avid gardener for more than 30 years. He was certified as a Soil Food-Web Advisor in 2005 & has actively worked with compost & compost tea for the past 6 years. He brings his understanding & passion for the abundant life in the soil to this workshop.

Tuition includes all course materials, lunch, & a starting supply of seeds
