Hope Uncorked: Fertile Hope's Seventh Annual Benefit Gala October 23, 2008

Fertile Hope (fertility resources for cancer patients) will host its 7th annual Hope Uncorked benefit gala, a Tri-State area event, on Thursday, October 23, 2008 from 7-11pm at Tribeca Rooftop in NYC.

Over 400 prominent physicians and distinguished professionals will enjoy exquisite wines paired with a generous menu. Special features include a "celebrity design" lounge, a specialty bar hosted by St. Germaine liquor, & a spectacular silent auction. The event is highlighted by a unique celebrity design campaign with signed & decorated Psi Bands (stylish anti-nausea wrist bands) by celebrities who have been personally touched by issues surrounding cancer, fertility, and/or parenthood. Hope Uncorked Los Angeles attendee, Denise Richards, designed a set & documented the experience on her E! network reality show, It's Complicated. Celebrities attending the event will be announced at a later date & interviews will be available on the red carpet before they enjoy an exclusive VIP area where they will each decorate & sign a set of Psi Bands. Psi Bands are fashionable drug-free wrist bands that use acupressure to relieve nausea due to chemotherapy, morning sickness, motion sickness, & anesthesia.

Founded by cancer survivor & fertility preservation advocate Lindsay Nohr Beck, Fertile Hope focuses on fertility awareness, education, financial assistance, research & support. To date, Fertile Hope has provided financial assistance for egg/embryo freezing & sperm banking to more than 625 men & women through the Sharing Hope program, resulting in a total cost savings of over $2 million. Moreover, $.80 of each dollar donated to Fertile Hope goes directly toward the programs & services that reach millions of patients nationwide.
