Hope In Motion Pre-Race Clinic: Nutrition and Injury Prevention May 16, 2008

Road Runner Sports is hosting several great clinics to get you ready for the Lazarex Cancer Foundation Hope In Motion 5/10K Walk/Run (August 3, 2008), so you can perform at your peak. Take advantage of these great free clinics! Road Runner is also offering a discount or a donation to Lazarex Cancer Foundation, if you choose, on any merchandise purchased during the clinics. Plus you can register right in the store on the clinic dates.

At this second Hope In Motion Pre-Race Clinic (May 16), learn what to eat and do leading up to race day so you'll be in top form through the end of the race. Registration for the race will also be available that day at the store.

This August 3, 2008 race will benefit Lazarex Cancer Foundation. Start time is 8 a.m. and the beautiful course consists of one (5K) or two (10K) paved trail loops around Lake Merritt (568 Bellevue Ave in Oakland). KFRC (106.9 FM) will be onsite providing great oldies music to power your best run yet.

Participants will compete for great prizes and all finishers will receive awards. Trophies will be awarded to best overall male and female competitors in both the 5K and 10K events. Medals will be given to each of the top three finishers in each age group by 10-year increments. The top finishers in each category will also receive gift certificates from Road Runner Sports.
