'Home Fries' is the story of a Texas woman trying to raise her three teenage children during World War II. She takes in female boarders tomake ends meet, one of whom falls in love with her son. The play examines family, home, honor and dreams during a time when everyone had "make do or do without." It's a show with all the poignancy, wistfulness and warmth of a favorite 1940s ballad.
