Tuesday, April 21 — “Holocaust and Genocide: A Historian’s Viewpoint”
Brandeis University will welcome Yehuda Bauer to campus, pioneer in the field of Holocaust studies, for a lecture entitled, “Holocaust and Genocide: A Historian’s Viewpoint.” Bauer serves on the faculty of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and at the International Institute for Holocaust Research, at Yad Vashem. Bauer has been widely recognized for his work on the prevention of genocide. In 1998 he was the recipient of the Israel Prize, the highest civilian award in Israel. The lecture will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21 in the International Lounge, Usdan Student Center, located at Brandeis University, 415 South St. Waltham, Mass. Admission is free.
