Holiday Tree/Menorah/Kinara Decorating Contest December 3, 2008

School Principals and Civic Leaders:
The Town of Davie is once again inviting your school or civic group to participate in the 20th Annual Holiday Tree,
Menorah, & Kinara Decorating Contest. Last year over 40 schools and civic groups participated in this festive
holiday event. The contest will be held at the Davie Town Hall, located at 6591 Orange Drive.
This year, the decorating contest will begin on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at 9:00 a.m. A holiday lunch
will be included for your team and chaperones at no cost on Wednesday, December 3rd from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ONLY. Lunch reservations may be made by completing the enclosed application.
If you can not decorate on Wednesday, December 3rd, your group may come to decorate after school on
Wednesday and Thursday evenings, or on Friday morning before NOON. However, the holiday lunch will
not be included at these times.

Come join the Town of Davie for our annual Holiday Tree/Menorah/Kinara Decorating Contest
DEC. 3TH TO DEC. 5TH

Tree, stand, menorah, kinara and lights are provided at no charge. Groups must make decorations for their tree, menorah, or kinara. They must be decorated no later than Friday, December 5, 2008 before Noon. There will be awards for best decorations.

Free Lunch will be provided for all groups participating on DECEMBER 3, 2008.
