New York, NY — UK soul sensation James Hunter will join Dar Williams, The Felice Brothers and special guest Bruce Hornsby at the Fourth Annual Holiday Cheer for ‘FUV Concert. Taking place Tuesday, December 2 at 8:00 PM at the Concert Hall of the New York Society for Ethical Culture, the concert benefits public radio station WFUV (90.7 FM, wfuv.org).

A Grammy-nominated singer, guitarist and songwriter, James Hunter has drawn comparisons to Van Morrison for his brand of “blue-eyed soul.” Westchester-raised singer-songwriter Dar Williams peppers her folk songs with social commentary, making her a star of the contemporary folk scene. Hailing from upstate New York, the Felice Brothers perfected their brand of rootsy folk music in their hometown in the Catskill Mountains before bringing it to New York City and quickly finding a fan base playing the city’s subway stations. Since the release of his first album in 1986, three time -Grammy winner Bruce Hornsby has sold over 11 million discs worldwide creating a musical life as a singer/songwriter/ virtuoso pianist that has spanned a broad stylistic range of activity from rock to pop, to Americana, to bluegrass, to jazz and beyond.

The Concert Hall of the New York Society for Ethical Culture is located at Central Park West and West 64th Street. VIP tickets are $250 and include a pre-concert reception provided by Abigail Kirsch Catering. $500 tickets include a pre-concert reception and front row seating.
