Hoclim Awards for Sustainable Construction - Region of North America October 15, 2008

The Holcim Awards for Sustainable Construction is a
worldwide competition designed to focus the minds of architects,
planners, engineers and project owners on creating innovative
construction solutions that truly champion sustainability. The Holcim
Awards recognizes any contribution to sustainable construction -
irrespective of scale - in architecture, landscape and urban design,
civil and mechanical engineering and related disciplines. Projects and concepts for construction in 121 countries were entered by authors from 90 countries. The entries will be evaluated by independent regional juries in June/July 2008, leading to regional Awards ceremonies in September/November 2008 in Madrid, Montréal, Mexico City, Marrakech and New Delhi. The global Awards ceremony will take place in Lucerne in May 2009.
