His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama Teaching on the Great Treatise July 9, 2008

July 10-15,2008 His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama will give an historic six-day teaching on The Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment (Lam Rim Chen Mo), Tsong-kha-pa's masterpiece on the stages of spiritual evolution. It will be the most extensive teaching of this text that His Holiness has presented in North America. This milestone in the history of Tibetan Buddhism marks the culmination of a 12-year effort by the Tibetan Buddhist Learning Center of New Jersey (TBLC) founded in 1958 by Geshe Ngawang Wangyal to translate the Great Treatise into English. TBLC, in collaboration with Lehigh University, has the great honor to host the teaching. It will be held in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania at Lehigh's Stabler Arena, an award-winning venue which, though large enough to seat 5000, feels intimate. July 10th Program SCHEDULE CHANGE BULLETIN: Schedule change announced for His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s visit: World-renowned Tibetan Buddhist teachers will offer key background at July 10th session for His Holiness’ teachings, July 11th-15th.

The Private Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama has announced a change in schedule for His Holiness’ trip to deliver a series of Teachings and a Public Lecture this July at Lehigh University.

Because of changes in his travel itinerary, His Holiness will arrive at Lehigh and begin teaching on July 11th not July 10th, as originally planned. However, the Tibetan Buddhist Learning Center, which is sponsoring His Holiness’ visit, in collaboration with the University, has arranged a program of speakers entitled, “Introducing the Path to Enlightenment.” This impressive program was proposed to His Holiness and His Holiness approved it. The program will feature four of the world’s foremost teachers of Tibetan Buddhism.

“INTRODUCING THE PATH TO ENLIGHTENMENT” PROGRAM SCHEDULE TICKETING INFORMATION
Single-day Ticket Holders: Those who currently hold a single-day ticket for the July 10th session can refund it and purchase a new ticket for the July 11th session when His Holiness will begin teaching, or any other day of teaching except Sunday, July 13th, or simply keep the refund.

6-day Block Ticket Holders: We strongly encourage you to retain your block ticket and attend the entire teaching. The remarkable lineup of teachers who will present on July 10th will give you key background knowledge of Tsong-kha-pa’s The Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment: The Lamrim Chenmo.

However, should you wish, you may obtain a refund for the block of tickets you purchased; no partial refunds will be given. Please note that if you wish to obtain a refund, you are required to do so through your original point of purchase. If you purchased your tickets with cash, you are also required to return to your original point of purchase to refund your ticket.
Please be aware that Ticketmaster has set a refund deadline. NO refund requests will be honored after 6 PM on Friday, June 20th.
