(12/2) MN8* presents *THE DIAMOND DISTRICT*
starring...

KEV BROWN & W. ELLINGTON FELTON

This Friday the grass is greener on our side, when the Diamond District shines at the 9:30 Club. The Diamond District, starring Kev Brown, W. Ellington, and Chronkite(?), features internationally known local artists who are raising the real estate of the Metro Area's Arts Community.

Landover, Maryland's Hip-Hop extroadinaire, Kev Brown, has gained mass appeal doing production for Jay-Z, De la Soul, Eric Roberson, and Jazzy Jeff's A Touch of Jazz Production Crew. Kev's pensive sexy soulful style can be heard lacing the beats and rhymes of his debut disc, "I Do What I Do." .

DC's R&B Hippie Neo- Soul Rock Star, Chronkite(?), will be hosting and performing throughout the evening. His mysterious voice can be heard on "Admit It," the lead single for W. Ellington Felton's masterpiece in waiting, "Postcards From the Edge." While this new album is currently the subject of a label-bidding war, the artist, W. Ellington Felton, is in the midst of a marquee week, as he can be seen starring in the lead role of Pastor Tim in "Multitudes of Mercies," airing on B.E.T. Thursday, December 1st. Malcolm Jamal Warner and Raheem DeVaughn also star in this dramatic film. As such, expect an inspired set on Friday from this area's consummate artists.
