High Noon is back and in action at the Black Hand Coffee Co. We will be sporting a new lineup that is here to stay in RVA.

Illbrain Duo opens.

The Illbrain Duo is a Richmond Virginia alternative jazz-rock duo comprised of Ilya Grossman and Brian Hennessey.
The pair first played together in the RVA band Stone Kitchen with Ilya on drums and Brian on keys. The band successfully released Morning, Noon and Night and toured the East Coast up until the eventual split in the late 90’s. I can’t go in to detail but Brian, would tell you that it was “many, many moons ago” that he and Ilya first played together, but the much needed break from their first band, time to relax, recharge, and regroup was definitely needed. Both Ilya and Brian decided that late 2008 was the perfect time to put the Ill brain ’child’ they’d always thought would stimulate in to action.
