In Tom Stoppard's hilarious and poignant translation of Gerald Sibleyras's 'Heroes,' we meet three World War One veterans in a French Sanatorium in 1959. Their humdrum lives are rejuvenated when they hatch a plan to escape their confines and the murderous clutches of Sister Mary Madeleine. Winner of the 2006 Laurence Olivier 'Best New Comedy' Award, it's been described as "Cuckoo's Nest" meets "Waiting for Godot."
