Heritage Ball August 25, 2012

Oceanside, CA – Old Mission San Luis Rey is excited to announce the 29th Annual Heritage Ball presented by Datron World Communications, Inc. Friends, family and supporters of this beloved historic landmark will gather together for a night of dinner, dancing and fundraising under the stars at Old Mission San Luis Rey on Saturday, August 25th at 6:00 PM. With Executive Director, Father David Gaa, event chair and local community volunteer, Gigi Gleason, and auction chair, Robbie Hass, at the helm, the Ball is guaranteed to be an elegant evening to remember. Featuring the talents of the experts at Hunter Steakhouse and chefs of Old Mission Luis Rey, there will be an array of delectable hors d'œuvres and a gourmet three-course dinner.
One of the highlights of this popular gala is the addition of an opportunity drawing in which both guests and the public will have the chance to enter to win a Holland American Line Cruise for two guests to the destination of their choice for up to 10 days, a value of over $6,650, for the steal of a deal at only $50 per ticket. In addition there will be fabulous live auction items. To beautify and renew the adjacent courtyard to the Church, a paddle raiser will be held to not only restore Peyri Court to its original glory, but to also make it safer for all of the visiting school children while maintaining its historical integrity.
The Gala will culminate with guests being entertained by the ever-engaging and appealing dance music of NRG Music and Productions, specializing in music from the 40s-90s.
