Herbie Nichols Project November 11, 2012

The Jazz Composers Collective Festival will feature a much-anticipated reunion of the group co-founded in 1994 by Frank Kimbrough and Ben Allison, which released three albums dedicated to the compositions of pianist Herbie Nichols (1919 - 1963). The ensemble also includes Ron Horton, Ted Nash, Michael Sarin and Michael Blake.
