Fancy some urban outdoor action after work, why not join us out in North West London and help us build OpenStreetMap?

OpenStreetMap is a project to create a map released with an open content license. It's a map system which gives access to the underlying data, and creates all sorts of exciting possibilities, and frees the information normally controlled by the likes of Ordnance Survey. But we need your help!

On the Evening of Tuesday 19th we'll be aiming to gather gather some more rich information in the area from West Hampstead to Queens Park area (otherwise known as Kilburn). Later we'll meet up in the pub. This is open to everyone whether you are already an active member of the openstreetmap community or just curious to find out more about the project. Have a go at mapping (e.g. with a pencil & a printout), or just come along and join us in the pub!

We're meeting in the pub at just after 8pm. Look out for people with GPS units/ maps. Also make a note of this: Contact: Shaun McDonald 07879610632

Before that though, we'll be arriving in the area at around 6:30 to do some mapping. If you're interested in joining in with that, check the website details
