This wonderful musical about the life of the greatest French king, Louis the Fourteenth, the Sun King, has been a triumph in France since its creation in 2005. Young Louis becomes King of France when he is only five-years-old, and later falls passionately in love with a young Italian without noble birth. As the story progresses, King Louis will bring incomparable luxury to Versailles at a high cost for his country, while having to fight rebellions and wars, as well as poisons and black magic. This adaptation of the French musical makes it suitable for young audiences while maintaining all its zest, thanks to very lively music and choreography. In English with songs sung in French.
