Heartbreaker Fashion Show May 3, 2007

Four Bay Area Designers That Will Break Your Heart.
Heartbreaker is a fashion show and dance party that will be happening on Thursday May 3rd, 2007 at the Space Gallery in San Francisco at 8 PM. The show will feature up and coming talent from the Bay Area, possessing both grace and taste. The show will begin with a set by the soon to be San Francisco based band, Pet Club, followed by the four designer’s lines, and conclude with a dance party into the night.

The four stars of the event are the designers; Machine, Cris, Shadi and Ellen. These lovely ladies have prepared lines to showcase their Spring/ Summer 2007 wears, and will debut them at Heartbreaker.

Opening the event will be special guests Pet Club. A band from the Pacific Northwest who will soon be joining the ranks of San Francisco artists this summer. They are an acoustic duo of cuteness with song like “Don’t let the Devil Buy your groceries.” Check them out at; www.myspace.com/petclubisgood.

D.J.s Joanna, Nicole, and Nathanael - will kick out the jams and dance you back in time. Heart, ACDC, MC5, The Sonics, ABBA, the B52s, Blondie, Cheap Trick, Creedence, Black Sabbath, Serge Gainsbourge, Velvet Underground, The Searchers, The Hollies, Tina Turner, The Chantels, The Rolling Stones, Todo, Roxie Music, Fleetwood Mac, PP Arnold, Linda Rondstat, Wire…
All this will be going down at the Space Gallery, Thursday May 3rd, 2007. The event will start at 8pm, and the runway show at 9pm sharp. The Space Gallery is located at 1141 polk St. at Sutter in San Francisco. Their web site is: www.spacegallerysf.com. The Gallery is 21+, and free. Come and join the fun. Some designers will be selling their clothing and jewelry at the venue.

The Designers:
MACHINE. Machine is a student at Apparel Arts in San Francisco for Pattern Drafting, She also makes a jewelry line that is available at the Painted Bird, and Minnie Wilde. She is inspired by magic.

Cristalette. Cris is an independent designer from Oakland, she specializes in vintage reconstruction and original designs. She has a website for her clothing company at www. cristalette.com. Her designs are wild, fun with prints and neons. Cris sells clothing and jewelry at Painted Bird, Pretty Penny, and Down at LULU's.

Shadi Clothing - Shadi is an independent designer from Oakland, she graduated from SFSU with a Bachelors of Science in Apparel Design. Shadi showed her line at SF fashion week 2005, and has pieces at Rock Paper Scissors in Oakland. Check out her website at www.ShadiClothing.com
