Heart and Grace reception with artist Mary Ann Peters March 12, 2010

Join us! Meet Seattle artist Mary Ann Peters at the Heart and Grace reception in the Edmonds Community College library, Third Floor, Lynnwood Hall. Celebrate Women’s History Month and the fifth annual Women’s Symposium with n evening of art, music, and culinary delights. Free. Open to all.

Peters' exhibit "if thinking is form: a visual diary" shows through March 15 in the college art gallery. She recreates her studio in the college art gallery. Enter into an exhibit of paintings and drawings, including the artist’s works in progress. She will work on a large drawing in the gallery on select days during the exhibit. Her work is based on a diary of images and writings she complied at an artist residency in Wyoming. It explores how her Lebanese heritage has influenced her visual vocabulary.
