Hawk Weekend September 20, 2009

Learn about the resident raptors of Prospect Park and discover how these creatures raise their young, catch their prey, and build their homes. Get up close and personal with live birds of prey, at shows put on by staff from the Theodore Roosevelt Audubon Sanctuary. Activities throughout the day include hawk puppet crafts, interactive games, and Hawk Watch. Binoculars provided. Live one-hour bird shows each day starting at 2 and 3:30 pm. There are plenty of indoor activities if it rains!
