Old clothing, straw for stuffing, and heads are provided while supplies last. This activity is free if you leave the scarecrow at Country Village for the contest, or $15.00 if you take it home. The person who builds the best scarecrow wins a $100 gift certificate valid at any Country Village shop or restaurant! The contest runs through the weekend of October 10 & 11, and the winner will be chosen the following week. The festivities will also include one-of-a-kind items made by local artisans, the original Kettle Korn, live glass blowing demonstrations at Urban Forms Design Center and more!
