!Harold & Maude' is an off-beat love story that subversively celebrates the importance of living a full and unique life. Young Harold constantly attempts suicide to gain his mother's attention and love. Elderly and high-spirited Maude spends her time in eccentric pursuits of happiness. They meet while crashing a funeral and become the oddest of odd couples as Maude passes on her intense love of life and art to the young man who eventually falls in love with her.
