Harmonikos will premiere our latest body of work centering around a piece entitled "Patriot Day," a tribute to 9/11. This new chamber symphony by esteemed young composer Niko Umar-Durr integrates the first-person narrative of Umar-Durr's uncle, a survivor of the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks. This work will be premiered by guest musicians Phil Hoxie, Megumi Miyata, Arkadi Serper, and Sean Woodruff, as well as Harmonikos members Niko Durr, Julien Altmann, and Stephen Spies.

The concert will also feature works by award-winning composers Julien Altmann, Thomas Feng, Dmitri Gaskin, and Stephen Spies.

Harmonikos represents some of the newest voices in contemporary classical music, and supports emerging composers by showcasing their works in concerts. For more information and to hear samples of our work, visit our website, http://harmonikos.com/.
