Harlem Globetrotters Bring “4 Times the Fun” to Miami

WHAT: The renowned Harlem Globetrotters are back and ready to debut their first-ever 4-point shot in Miami as a part of their 2011 “4 Times the Fun” North American tour.

WHO: Described by Sports Illustrated as “the sports equivalent of comfort food,” the Globetrotters’ famous show features some of the most extraordinary athletes and entertainers on the planet – including Big Easy Lofton and Flight Time Lang, Special K Daley, Scooter Christensen and Handles Franklin and Ant Atkinson.

MORE INFO:The Harlem Globetrotters are in their 85th consecutive season of touring the world and will perform in more than 220 cities in 46 states. They are one of only six teams to be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
The 2011 world tour will now feature the new innovation of the 4-point shot, two designated 4-point shooting spots are on each side of midcourt, and each are located 35 feet from the basket (the spots are 12 feet beyond the NBA’s official 3-point line).
