Here's a wonderful opportunity for Streatham's young people to get their toes a tapping at this special dance day. With tuition from some of the best choreographers in the country, it promises to be a packed morning of high quality, high energy dance, with an opportunity to take part in a performance slot in the afternoon.

Arrive at 9.30am to sign up for the morning workshops, starting at 10am:

Candoco Dance Company - pushing boundaries of contemporary dance beyond usual expectations and broadening people's perception of what dance is and who can dance, this session is open to 13 – 17 year olds of all abilities and disabilities.

Rambert Dance Company – giving 10 – 13 year olds an insight into the choreographic genius of Britain's flagship contemporary dance company, this is a class not to be missed.

Plus taster sessions in tap and street dance – suitable for 5 years olds +

2.00pm – 3.30pm

Talented young artists from local schools, stage schools and dance outfits take to the stage for an afternoon of performance. Everybody is invited to see what they’ve learned in the workshops, what they’ve been practising for weeks or have literally just made up on the spot. Eat your heart out Billy Elliott.
