Hannukah Solstice Celebration December 17, 2006

Come be a part of the innovative, joyous, Tel Shemesh Annual Hannukah/Winter Solstice Festival. There will be storytelling and ritual theater with Rabbi Jill Hammer, Franny Silverman, Shawn Shafner, drumming with Shoshana Jedwab, Hebrew kirtan (India-style chant) with Rabbi Andrew Hahn, and JewishPrayerDance with Rabbi Neal Kaunfer, as well as snacks, candlelighting, and more! Cosponsored by Tel Shemesh, the JCC in Manhattan, and JewishPrayerDance. The cost is $12 for non-members and $10 for members. Wear comfortable clothes, and bring instruments if you wish. (We do need people to pay, but If finances are an issue, please don't let that prevent you from participating.)
