Hanging by a Thread is a captivating piece of visual theatre for adults that draws the audience into the story of three characters: a young girl, her elderly mother, and a bed that has a compelling and surprising life of its own. The piece explores themes of love, manipulation, transformation, birth and death, with humour and power. 

The Ding Foundation makes visual theatre through objects, sound, puppetry, physical performance and music, playing between these elements to convey different forms of narrative and theatrical transformation.  The piece has no words.
