Hands-On Chocolate Making Class at the Institute of Culinary Education December 16, 2006

You know that less than two weeks before Christmas you will be a nervous wreck because you have not found that toy for your nephew or the hideous smelling perfume that your aunt has been moaning about (because it was discontinued ages ago). If you want to unwind in a warm atmosphere, bask in the glory of knowing how to make actual chocolate, or offer a pre-Christmas brilliant present you will be worshiped for as long as you live, take part or sign up someone to be a part of our Chocolate Zoomesque event.

After a 30-minute introductory lecture from the famed ICE technicians, you will be learning how to prepare delicious truffles in about 3 and half hours. Just to name a few, white chocolate with passion fruit, dark chocolate with green tea, milk chocolate with ginger, with spices, chocolates filled with liquor, you may have to guard those with your life from the CZ team in attendance. While you are cooking or, sorry, mastering the art of the chocolate, there will be wine and a cheese platter to keep your fuel levels up. And of course, you get to taste everything that is produced and then take your masterpieces at home for the rest of the family and friends to enjoy.
