Sunday, March 24, 7pm and Monday, March 25, 7:30pm

So many performances take place at Christmas time that it is easy to forget that Handel's beloved oratorio is actually Easter music, having first been presented in April of 1742. Come celebrate the season by singing not only the popular numbers, but also songs in the less familiar Easter section that other programs usually omit. Bring your own score, or purchase one at the door, or just relax and listen.

Again this year: The two performances are different, and yes, the starting times are different. On Sunday we will perform the entire work, from start to finish. If you have ever wanted to sing the whole Messiah with orchestral accompaniment, this is your chance. On Monday we will perform some of the more popular selections with a goal of finishing earlier in the evening. If you would like a good taste of Messiah but want a shorter evening, this is for you.

Free, but required, tickets to the Sings are available by emailing your name and address and your ticket request, including number of tickets and desired night of performance, to [email protected].
