It isn't every day that a producer can offer a new musical by a dead book writer/lyricist/composer team. The intricacies of English and Scottish marriage laws can't stop young lovers in this hilarious musical of W.S. Gilbert's topsy-turvy masterpiece, 'Engaged,' that influenced Ayckbourn's 'Norman Conquests' and Wilde's 'Importance of being Earnest.' The songs are by Gilbert & Sullivan; Robert Sickinger provided additional lyrics.
