Francis Wilson (Economics, University of Cape Town) is a noted anti-apartheid leader and an author of works on poverty and liberation struggles. By giving an insider perspective of the long struggle interspersed with anecdotes of the key personalities involved, Wilson will provide a political-economy analysis of the complex set of interacting factors that led to the political transformation of South Africa in the early 1990s.
