Mac and Chris met in prison in 2002. Upon breaking out in 2007, they met up with Owen through a mutual friend and decided to kidnap Andrew Lyle for ransom. Upon hearing Andrew's angelic voice, they decided to keep him and form a band. Andrew is also Canadian, a fact he regularly contests. Hailing from Portland, Oregon, the band plays experimental/progressive music and features Julius (drums), Adam (bass), Ashley (vocals, piano), Dakota (vocals) and Joshua (guitar).
