In Haiti and around the Haitian Diaspora, Haitians celebrate Flag Day otherwise known as "Fête du Drapeau" (fr.) "Fèt Drapo (cr) with great pride and fanfare. Haiti’s flag’s origin is tightly linked to a history of struggle for freedom.
