Haitian Congress to Fortify Haiti in collaboration with the
Consulate General of the Republic of Haiti in Chicago and the Haitian Community organizations in Chicago invites everyone to join in the celebration of the Haitian Flag (official date May 18).

In Haiti and around the Haitian Diaspora, Haitians celebrate Flag Day otherwise known as "Fête du Drapeau" (fr.) "Fèt Drapo (cr) with great pride and fanfare. Haiti’s flag’s origin is tightly linked to a history of struggle for freedom.
