GUMBO is every First Friday and Third Thursday at the dramatic multi-level Galapagos Art Space -- located just one subway stop into Brooklyn. The Time Out New York “Critics’ Pick” for gay nightlife welcomes guys and gals to what OUT.com calls “one of the hottest new parties in NYC.” The main space is anchored by large seating 'islands' floating above a 1,600-square-foot lake, which reflects the giant disco ball above the partygoers. GUMBO features: Guest co-hosts, Bartenders-for-a-cause, Rotating DJs (Will Automagic, Josh Sparber, Scotty Rox), 2 bars & 2 floors, Stage dancing, 2x1 drink specials, and Free haircuts by Lynsey, the resident stylist. “A place for grown-up gays to play?
