What is CCR?
The Gulf Coast Women's Center for Nonviolence has partnered with local community members to form an alliance called the Coordinated Community Response (CCR).

The primary goal of coordination is increased victim safety and abuser accountability.

Your involvement can increase the effectiveness of the law enforcement and court response to cases that involve intimate partner violence. The legal system is a critical part of any changes to how we protect victims and hold offenders accountable, but other community institutions (religious, economic, medical, nonprofit, education, etc.) have a more powerful impact on changing cultural norms than the legal system.
