Guerrillas,

Can you believe that it's already been a year since we started this revolution?? This Friday, June 8 at 9:30 PM is the anniversary of our opening salvo last June at Barney's Beanery.
Comrades, thanks to your valiant actions, when each Friday draws near, the managers of straight watering holes sleep uneasily --

Twelve short months ago, the straight bars were complacent, confident -- smug, even! -- in the knowledge that on any given Friday night, the crowd would be 10% gay -- or less! But together, we have put Los Angeles on notice! Now, there's a hint of apprehension behind every new drink special, a second thought each time a "Ladies' Night" is announced, wondering when we will come! They fear us, oh yes, but also, they hunger for the glorious day when they will be infiltrated, the happy day when their tedious straight bars will become fabulous once more!

The Guerrilla Gays come as liberators, freeing gays and straights alike from hum-drum business-as-usual nights at the bar!

But, guerrillas, there is one straight stronghold near the heart of our own encampment that refuses to see the beauty of our plan. No bull, this place is about as aggressively heterosexual as they come.

And this Friday, June 8, at 9:30 P.M., for our one year anniversary, we're going to turn it into pride weekend's best gay bar.

This is our toughest target yet, but no matter how it goes down, you will definitely want to say you were there to see it. So, clear your calendars!
