Gubernatorial Debate with Bob Fitrakis and Bill Pierce October 20, 2006

On Friday, October 20, and because they've yet to be invited to a debate stage, third party candidates Bob Fitrakis and Bill Pierce will debate for Meet.The.Bloggers*.

Pierce is the Libertarian candidate for governor. He's been an instructor of economics at Case Western since 1966, spending six years of that time as department chair. Pierce entered the race for governor in 2005 contending that both major parties have damaged Ohio.

Fitrakis is a lawyer and professor at Columbus State Community College. He's been a leading voice in the clean elections movement in Ohio, even spending time as a voter protection attorney in the 2004 cycle. Fitrakis is endorsed by the Ohio Green Party.
