This class will cover realistic and practical approaches to urban food production. During the field trip, visit a local converted lawn for hands-on activities. Tour the farm, harvest the produce, prepare food, watch a cooking demonstration and enjoy a light lunch from the freshly picked vegetables. Take home handouts, resources, and heirloom seeds.
