Paying homage to the R&B, Motown and Soul legends, and founded solely on passion for the music, Groove Buffet formed in early 2005. The band is quickly on the rise and has become one of the best tribute bands in the New York Tri-State area. Unlike some tribute bands, Groove Buffet is not performing a routine. They don't dress up in 1960s attire, prance the stage like James Brown, or play note-for-note solos. Groove Buffet is much more attitude than imitation, Groove Buffet has an extensive song library from which it crafts each show's set list.
